Thanks to feedback from customers like you, we found that there was a logic flaw that affected a very small number of hymns that resulted in permission letters being printed even when appropriate license coverage was entered in the User Profile. Specifically, certain hymns administered by New Dawn or LicenSing are also covered by CCLI. The Hymns for Worship "engine" thought you would need BOTH instead of EITHER one.
The links below will allow you to obtain a software patch to correct this problem. Be sure to click the appropriate link below—Microsoft Windows or Apple MacOS.

Download a software patch below. The file size is 1.2MB compressed in Zip format (080664074Xpatch.zip). The zip file will then expand to a 2.5MB file (HymnsForWorship.exe). Download may take up to several minutes depending on your Internet connection speed.
Instructions for Windows Installation:
- Click on the link below to download the compressed file, 080664074Xpatch.zip, onto your desktop.
Software Patch for Windows

- The file should expand to a file named "HymnsForWorship.exe" If you try to expand the 080664074Xpatch.zip file and it won't yield the HymnsForWorship.exe file, you may need software such as WinZip which you can download for FREE from WinZip Computing, Inc.
- On your computer's Desktop, go to "My Computer" and open your Hard Drive (usually the "C" drive).
- Find the "HymnsforWorship" folder and open it. This might be found within your "Program Files," but its precise location was determined when you installed the software initially.
- Replace the old HymnsForWorship.exe file in the "HymnsforWorship" folder with the new downloaded version.

- The file should expand to a file named "HFWUpdater" If you try to expand the HFWUpdater.sit file and it won't yield the HFWUpdater file, you may need StuffIt Expander version 5.5 or later which you can download for FREE from Aladdin Systems, Inc.
- On your Macintosh Desktop, find the "HFWUpdater" icon and double click it. The Software Patch will launch.
- Follow the software patch instructions.
