Augsburg Fortress

A moving text by Sylvia Dunstan, familiar to some from its appearance in Evangelical Lutheran Worship, is here paired with a traditional Scottish melody and beautifully set by Hal Hopson’s sure hand. As so often with his choral works, it is very useful even for small choirs, making no large demands while providing musical expressions that serve the worship service.
