All selections have been carefully edited to preserve the integrity
of the original work as well to make the material accessible to a
broad range of performers, conductors, and settings. New poetic
English texts have been created for many of the titles, yet the
original German or Latin has also been preserved. All titles are
carefully indexed and a thorough preface gives a scholarly overview
to this tremendous wealth of choral literature. The collection is
