Augsburg Fortress

This two-volume set contains newly composed settings of all the psalms used in the Revised Common Lectionary, in a variety of styles. This resource will supplement the more standard psalm refrains and tones found in Psalter for Worship. Styles represented include responsorial, hymnic, Anglican chant, and through-composed settings in a variety of voicings, including solo and choral settings. Useful to congregations large and small and of all denominations, it is printed in a durable, spiral-bound format for use both as a desk reference and on the music rack.

Purchase of this resource includes permission to make as many copies of the musical scores as are needed for the purchaser's local music ensembles or solo participants. A free download below provides the melody-line assembly refrains in TIFF format with permission to reproduce them for the assembly. Individual psalms from this collection are also available for separate purchase; simply search the psalm number (i.e. “psalm 4”) in the search bar above.
