Here is the perfect opening/call to worship or anthem for Easter worship. It's written for SATB with three trumpets, but if you don't have three trumpets, try two trumpets and a horn, or play the instrumental parts on the organ. If you can surprise the congregation with singing from the back of the sanctuary, try the first 26 measures as an intro/fanfare to the hymn "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today" and then sing the entire work as the anthem. An effective, magnificent work!
