Augsburg Fortress

Nancy Raabe arranged this collection for two reasons. First, it was designed to spur the imagination about the wide variety of ways that hymn tunes may be given shape, profile, and character. Second, its purpose is to draw your attention to the hymn texts, by including a line of the respective hymn text at the beginning of each variation. This collection is a treasure for exploration by both you and the congregation.
