Joe Cox’s choral setting of the familiar chant, ADORO TE DEVOTO, is now re-released in digital download format. Set for SATB choir and organ, the harmonically rich organ accompaniment adds depth and warmth while the choir sings the chant mostly in unison, dividing into SATB on the final stanza. The last stanza could also be sung in unison creating an approachable setting for children’s choir or smaller ensemble. Easy to prepare, this is a beautiful addition to your choir’s communion repertoire and especially appropriate on Easter II.
