In the composer’s signature jazzy style, here are four brief motets in very different characters especially suited to the Christmas season. Music on the following texts: Isaiah 60:1-2, John 1:14, Luke 2:10-11, Luke 2:14. Each is scored for SATB choir and pizzicato string bass. As a set of four, these would be a delightful choice for a Christmas concert or individually as a joyous introit or gospel acclamation for Christmas Eve.
