Carol of the Advent

A delightful setting of a celebrated hymn for Advent scored for SATB choir and handbells (2 octaves, AGEHR level 1). Based on the French Carol melody BESANÇON, Hurd's choral setting is beautifully arranged throughout in a variety of textures and harmonic language. At the very end of the piece, on the last chord, a performance note indicates the use of a tambourine!
