Augsburg Fortress

"O God of All People" is a delightful new marriage of a typically image-filled text by Herbert Brokering with a lilting setting by Michael Burkhardt. His original hymn tune is contrasted at the end with WIE SCHÖN LEUCHTET. The choir part divides briefly into four-part women, but in a way that is accessible for a medium-sized choir. Effective with piano alone, optional parts for handbells and brass quartet are also available.
