Augsburg Fortress

This collection of short songs, refrains and chants has been developed to support service of Prayer Around the Cross, a collection of evening services that include scripture readings, prayers, silence, and an opportunity to sit or kneel near a large cross, light a candle and pray. It includes a rich variety of musical styles to provide a backdrop for this contemplative worship experience and is appropriate for any season. Because these services take place in near darkness, this music is simple and easily learned.
