John Helgen has masterfully set a poem by Gracia Grindal that reflects on the saints who have gone before us and continue to surround us in spirit, offering gratitude for their work, faith, and guidance. The music is written in a quasi-rondo format with a reoccurring refrain and verses that vary and continue to build, culminating in a glorious final statement of the refrain. Scored for SATB and keyboard, this music includes an optional C instrument part. Ideal for All Saints worship as well as church anniversaries and celebrations.
