Exaltation is the second movement of Celestial Spring, a four-movement “motet-cycle” by F. Melius Christiansen published 1931 and re-released here in a new edition.

This jubilant motet celebrates spring, rebirth, and renewal as signs of God’s faithfulness. The rhythmic and lilting crescendo of the opening and closing sections surround a contrasting lyrical section in the middle. Choirs will delight in this joyful and expressive work.
