Glorification is the final movement of Celestial Spring, a four-movement “motet-cycle” by F. Melius Christiansen published 1931 and re-released here in a new edition.

Glorification begins as a fugue that continues in imitative counterpoint, proclaiming that our spirits are always singing “a new Hosanna” to God. A true choral masterwork, this motet showcases Christiansen’s brilliant command of part-writing and expressive choral technique.
