Augsburg Fortress

Charming and delightful, this SAB Easter anthem has the buoyant feel of a renaissance madrigal. Written in strophic form with refrain, this anthem encourages versatility in use. The stanzas are scored for SAB choir and can be sung a cappella or with organ doubling the choir. The unison refrain includes the option to invite the assembly to sing as well as an alternate accompaniment and a soprano descant for the final refrain.
