Augsburg Fortress

This anthem is a setting of a hymn from the worship supplement, All Creation Sings, which features a powerful text by Susan Palo Cherwien that reflects on the paradox of Christ - who shows strength through compassion and love. Robert Buckley Farlee wrote a noble tune that pairs well with the poetry and here sets the hymn for SATB voices with optional assembly.  A wonderful path for introducing a new hymn to your congregation and particularly useful with Reign of Christ themes.
