Zebulon Highben writes a new melody that is reminiscent of a folk tune and pairs it with this familiar Advent text. A buoyant and joyful anthem, the SATB setting includes accompaniment for piccolo or flute and drum. The traditional tune BEREDEN VÄG FÖR HERRAN is creatively incorporated as a descant in the final stanza.
